Bowen is often called the ‘homeopathy’ of body work. It is a remedial manual therapy that calms the nervous system, relaxing the body and allowing it to heal. Both modalities use the minimum amount of effort for maximum results. Our bodies have a wonderful ability to heal themselves…. as long as we give it the right tools to help it along its way. I started studying Bowen (Bowtech for those curious) nearly 10 years ago and I haven’t looked back, it’s a beautiful modality that works with our bodies and its response to stress which in turn helps it to heal. As a homeopath, I can incorporate remedies as part of the healing journey, using both modalities to complement each other.
